NanoRV Panel v1.0-Tech Access targets 36 species respiratory virus from 12 genera in 7 families. Both the reference genomic sequences and “neighbor” viral genomes have been taken into consideration in the panel design.

Table 2. Refseqs with whole genome covered by NanoRV Panel v1.0-Tech Access

Fig 1. Enrichment efficiency of NanoRV Panel v1.0-Tech Access. The library was constructed from COVID-19 RNA reference (Genewell, GW-CRPM002) using NadPrep DNA Universal Library Preparation Kit (for Illumina®️) combined with NadPrep Total RNA-to-DNA Module. Custom probes targeting 7 human housekeeping genes were spiked into the NanoRV Panel v1.0-Tech Access, followed by either single or double capture sequencing. Sequencing data were analyzed with Salmon v1.2.0. Reads mapped to SARS-CoV-2 or targeted housekeeping genes were counted as on-target, while rRNAs and other transcripts as off-target.

Fig 2. The abundance of SARS-CoV-2 compared to selected housekeeping genes. The libraries constructed from COVID-19 RNA reference (Genewell, GW-CRPM002) were enriched using the NanoRV Panel v1.0-Tech Access spiked with custom probes targeting 7 human housekeeping genes. Salmon v1.2.0 was used to calculate TPM.

Fig 3. Coverage uniformity across the SARS-CoV-2 genome. The library was constructed from COVID-19 RNA reference (Genewell, GW- CRPM002) followed by targeted enrichment of SARS-CoV-2 with the NanoRV Panel v1.0-Tech Access.
